Data Download

Before downloading data, create an empty folder named Mobile at the same level as the \system and \bin subfolders.

Select Download on the Mobile Setup Wizard.

Greentree Desktop connects to the MYOB Greentree Desktop FTP site and downloads a self-extracting executable file that creates the mobile files and folders, primarily within the \Mobile folder. The installer prompts you to point to this location before starting the download.

When the download is complete, the folder structure displays.

The files in the \Mobile folder are unique to the mobile environment and are in Unicode format. You can't interchange with the files in the main Greentree Desktop \bin and \system folders, which are in an ANSI format.

armv4i-msoft-wm60-unicode - Binary files required by JADE when upgrading the mobile device files folder.
DeviceFiles - The binary files which are downloaded to the mobile device.
Installer - The file setup.exe and associated files that are required to install the Mobile Connection Manager executable on the device. This folder can reside on a network share.
Packing up mobile - There are no special steps required to pack up the mobile environment. They are maintained and updated by the package system.
