Features
The planning board has these features:
- The default time frame is by day.
- Grey columns are days that are not standard factory work days.
- Orders that have a status of Entered and Not Committed can be dragged and dropped to any standard factory work day in the day/hour/minute views, but not the week or monthly views.
- You cannot move orders with all other statuses.
- You cannot drop orders on a non-work day.
- When you drop an order to a different date or time, the order release date, required date, and starting time is recalculated and updated for the order.
- If you drag to the edge of the table, the horizontal scroll bar will keep moving to show any hidden columns.
- Selecting the inventory item code in the left hand table will highlight the first order in the row.
- Clicking on the column header will highlight the first order in the column.
- Selecting a cell will highlight the column header, and the row in the item code table.
- If you point to an order with your mouse, a pop up form displays the order details.
- Double clicking on an order will drill down to the factory order entry form, pre-populated with the order details.
- If a form opens from the planning board (for example, filter form or factory order entry form), you must save and close those forms before moving back to the planning board form to ensure updated details are reflected in the refreshed planning board.
- You can resize the Item code table to a maximum of one-third of the width of the Planning Board form.
