Quantity Spread % Maintenance

Use this form to create and edit quantity spread percentages. You can use the percentages to streamline the creation of inventory budgets on the Budget Maintenance form.

The percentages that you enter represent how the total annual quantity for an item is expected to spread across each.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Code

Enter or retrieve a quantity spread code, up to four alphanumeric characters.

Description

Enter a description for the quantity spread, up to 30 alphanumeric characters.

Total quantity %

This is a read-only field that updates as values are added to the table. This must equal to 100 before you can save a quantity spread factor.

Difference %

This is a read-only field that updates as values are added to the table. This must equal to 0 before you can save a quantity spread factor. It represents the difference between 100% and the sum of the Quantity % spread entered into the table.

Table

The Period descriptions default based on calendar specified on the Inventory Module Control form.

Enter the quantity percentages applicable for each period into the Quantity Spread % column. You can enter values between 0 and 100.
