Budget Maintenance
Use this form to create and maintain inventory budgets.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Budget Number
Enter or retrieve a budget number, up to 10 alphanumeric characters.
Description
Enter or retrieve a budget description, up to 30 alphanumeric characters.
Sequence
Select a budget sequence for this budget. This is taken from the Inventory Module Control form. Based on this selection, different fields are enabled for data entry when details are entered using the Budget Year Maintenance form.

Table
The Year column displays all years that are set up in the default calendar specified on the Inventory Module Control form. The Status column indicates the years that already have budget details set up, and whether the budget year is open or closed.
Create and edit budget year
To add budget details for a year, highlight the year and click the Create and edit budget year button to open the Budget Year Maintenance form, populated with fields for data entry using the selected sequence.
Note: If details have already been entered for a year, the button's label reads View and edit budget year, and you can edit budget detail for the selected year.
Delete budget year
Highlight the year and click this button to delete the budget details for that year.
This deletes all budget details for the selected year. You can only delete closed years.
You can also click the Delete icon to delete an entire budget.
It deletes the budget header and all
budget details for all years.
The Delete icon is only enabled
if all budget years in the current budget are closed.
