Employee Maintenance


Use this form to edit the details of your employees. The types of information that you can edit includes:

  • Employee's address and contact details.
  • Employee's pay structure including pay, deductions, taxation and employer costs.
  • Multiple enquiries on pay transactions.
  • The user and/or team that the employee is assigned to, as well any job costing links.

The copy function is enabled for employees who have been terminated so you can copy their details if they are re-employed. This function copies everything but the start and termination dates, events, involvement and positions and functions.

Buttons on This Form

The buttons on this form are:

Attachments

Click this button to add documents or images to the employee's record, or to view attachments.

Pay Now

Click this button to open the Pay Entry form, which you can use to enter and/or edit pays and then immediately pay an employee.

Process Accruals

Click this button to open the Process Accruals form, which you can use to calculate or revalue an employee's accrual balance.

Terminate

Click this button to terminate the employee.

Re-activate

This button is enabled if the employee has been terminated. Click this button if the employee has been rehired and put back on the payroll.

Leave Without Pay

Click this button to open the Leave Dates form, on which you enter the dates over which the employee will take leave without pay. This changes the next anniversary date on which the employee is entitled to accrued leave. That date displays on the Defaults tab on the Employee Maintenance form.

eHR Configuration

Click this button to open the eHR Employee Configuration form to define the list of eHR users. This button is enabled if eHR is in use.

Leave Forecast

Click this button to view an employee's future leave balance or view their leave history. This button is enabled when Leave Planning is in use.

Verified

Click this button to display whether or not the employee's information has been verified, by whom, and when the verification was done.
