Profit Centre/Location Update

Use this form to transfer one or a group of assets from one profit centre to another and/or one location to another.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Asset Range

Depreciation can be calculated for all assets, a single asset, or a range of assets, based on what's selected here.

Profit Centre From

Select the profit centre that is assigned to the asset(s).

Profit Centre To

Select the profit centre that the assets must be assigned to.

Location From

Select the location of the assets.

Location To

Select the location if the assets are to move.

Click the Update button. The process transfers all selected assets in the From profit centre to the To profit centre, and all selected assets in the From location to the To location. Any assets in the selected range that do not belong to the From profit centre or the From location are not transferred.

All asset transactional history is transferred as part of this process.
