Calculate Forecast Depreciation

Use this form to calculate forecast depreciation for assets set up on the Forecast Assets form.

Click the Start button on the form. The progress bar updates with the percentage of the process that's completed. The form closes when the process is complete.

No transactions are generated during this process.

If an asset is assigned a Daily depreciation frequency, depreciation is calculated using the number of days since the purchase date.

You can run the Forecast Depreciation Schedule report to view the output of this process. You can run depreciation forecasts to generate what if scenarios and simulations.
