Menu Maintenance
Use this form to create the menus that WebView users can access. You can assign different menus to different users via User Maintenance. You create menus in a tree/branch format, using parent menus and sub-menus.
Access the form using Greentree Desktop's System > WebView menu.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Menu Name
Enter a name for the menu, up to 200 alphanumeric characters long.
Default Start Page
This is the first page that defaults when the user logs into this menu. Leave this field empty to default to a empty form, or enter/select a page that is set up in Page Maintenance.
Menu Item
This section of the form is used to build the menu structure based on parent menus and sub-menus. Use the new/clear, save and delete icons within the section to maintain menu structures. As you create it, the menu structure displays on the right side of the form. Use the arrows to reposition branches within the structure.
- Name - Enter a name for the parent or sub-menu that is the label displayed to the user in WebView. You can enter/select a name of up to 200 alphanumeric characters.
- Parent Menu - Select the parent menu if the Name refers to a sub-menu that you want to attach to this parent. It will be left empty if the Name refers to a parent menu.
- Page or URL - This is the page or URL to display when the menu item is selected within WebView. Select first whether to link to a page or a URL, then enter/select either a page or an URL address. Select a page type of other to select a Financial Report page.
