Mobile Users

To set up Greentree mobile users, select Mobile Users within the Mobile Setup Wizard. Or, access this form using Greentree Desktop's System > Mobility > Mobile Preference Group Maintenance menu.

Mobile user preferences are on the Mobility tab within User Preferences.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Mobile user

Select this option to indicate the user will be a mobile user.

Mobile applet access

Select the mobile applications the selected user will be allowed to access.

Mobile preference groups

Select the mobile preference group to assign to the user. These are set up in Mobile Preference Group Maintenance. Only one group can be assigned to the user.

User profile

Select the mobile profile to assign to the user. These are set up in Mobile Profile Maintenance.

Salesperson

Select a salesperson to assign to the user. This is the default salesperson used for the Sales Order Entry and Quote Entry mobile applications. These are set up in AR Salesperson Maintenance.

If the masterfile filter options selected in Mobile profiles and the applets selected are not compatible, an error message displays. The error message also contains information about how to correct the problem.
