Warehouse Personnel Maintenance


Use this form to set up warehouse personnel, specifically for identifying pickers and packers who can be assigned to packing slips. A picker is assigned at the packing slip line level, and a packer is assigned at the packing slip header level.

The assignment of pickers and/or packers to packing slips allows for a level of control in terms of being able to identify who was actually assigned to pick or pack the order(s).

Since not all warehouse personnel will necessarily require a Greentree login user ID, the user login selection is optional. This enables multiple personnel to be set up against a 'blank' login. These personnel is available to assign as picker/packer to a packing slip using another user's login.

InformationIf the mobile picking application is in use, each mobile user will require their own user login.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Code

Assign a code to represent the person, up to 10 characters long.

Name

Assign a name to represent the person, up to 50 characters long.

Is Active

Select this option to indicate the personnel record is currently active.

User login

If the person has a Greentree login, select it here. Otherwise, leave it blank. The person must have a user login if they want to assign pickers/packers to packing slips (Allow assignment).

Is picker

Select this option to indicate the person can be assigned as a picker to a packing slip line.

Is packer

Select this option to indicate the person can be assigned as a packer to a packing slip header.

Is receiver

Select this option to indicate the person can receive and put away purchase orders using the mobile PO Receiving and Put Away application.

Allow assignment

This is only an option for personnel with a Greentree login. If selected, the person can assign pickers/packers to packing slips.

Notes

Add unlimited notes to the personnel record.
