PO Receiving and Put Away

This function enables the receipt and put away of purchase order lines for inventory items. Two receiving processes are available:

Bulk Receive

This process enables order lines to be received directly into their PO line location without the requirement to confirm physical put away. The process is available for:

WBM (Warehouse Bin Management) warehouses that have a transitional receiving area set up (in which case all lines are received into that location).
Non WBM warehouses.
Systems where locations are not in use.

Receive and Put away

This process guides the mobile user to put away locations and the quantity received is only confirmed when the user has physically put the items away. For all order lines selected to receive and put away, Greentree presents the user with individual put away tasks using the sort order specified in Mobile Preference Group Maintenance. The device will guide the user to each put away location using the PO line location or the bin hierarchy where WBM is in use.

The process is available for:

WBM warehouses that do not have a transitional receiving area set up (in which case users are directed to bins for put away based on bin storage profiles and hierarchies).
Non WBM warehouses.
Systems where locations are not in use.
