Classification Maintenance

Use this form to create test classifications, against which you can assign unlimited individual tests and specifications.

For example, you can set up a Microbial classification which has two individual tests assigned. You can add test codes (up to 10 characters) and names (up to 30 characters) to the table on this form, and text to represent a specification for each test. The specification displayed at the base of the form relates to the test that is highlighted in the table.

You assign classifications using Inventory Test Maintenance and Non-Inventory Test Maintenance. Assigning tests to classifications automatic assigns tests to individual items using the test maintenance forms, where test requirements are common across multiple items.
