Multiple Adjustment Entry
This form limits the transaction type to an adjustment type, selected at the line level rather than the header level. This supports the purpose of the multiple adjustment form, which is to enable both a positive and negative adjustment to be entered within the same transaction reference.

Use the IN Transaction Entry Security form to set up security parameters with regard to user access to adjustment transaction types applied within this form. |
Entering data into the transaction lines, including serial/lot and/or dimension detail where applicable, is the same as it would be if the transaction was being entered using the transaction entry form for an adjustment. The only exception is that the transaction type is entered at the line level.
If a decreasing multiple adjustment transaction type is defined in Inventory Module Control, it defaults to the transaction lines. You can also select a different type. You cannot select these transactions types:
- Transfer options is selected;
- Effect on Inventory is none;
- eXchange transfer request is selected.
All other IN transaction types are assumed to be valid adjustment types, and may be selected within the multiple adjustment form.
Duplicate Line Feature
Use the duplicate line feature to create a subsequent line based on the line this option is selected for. This assists with fast data entry where a subsequent line will be a duplicate of the previous line, but the transaction effect will be reversed. It is particularly useful if the same item, quantity, price, and the like. is involved, but only the serial/lot numbers and/or dimensions are being adjusted within the same location.
To activate the feature, select the Duplicate Line option on the line you want to duplicate and press Enter. Where serial/lot and/or dimension details are required, the relevant form will display, allowing you to enter details as for the duplicated adjustment line.
If the transaction type selected on the line that is being duplicated has a decreasing effect, the duplicated line updates with the increasing multiple adjustment transaction type defined in Inventory Module Control, and visa versa.
The feature is only available to select when you are entering a new line.

When you save a multiple adjustment transaction, Greentree checks whether the quantity of the positive adjustments equals the quantity of the negative adjustments. If they are not equal, you will be prompted with a message to indicate this. You will have an option to continue with saving the transaction, or exiting the message before saving so that a quantity adjustment can be made. |
