Calculate Forecast Depreciation

Use this form to calculate forecast depreciation for assets set up in the Forecast Assets form, using methods and parameters assigned using the Forecast Depreciation Schedule, or Asset Defaults.

Click the Start button on the form. The progress bar updates with the percentage of the process that's completed. The form closes when the process is complete.

Notes:

• No transactions are generated during this process.
• If an asset is assigned a Daily depreciation frequency, depreciation is calculated using the number of days since the purchase date.
• You can run the Forecast Depreciation Schedule to view the output of this process.
• You can run depreciation forecasts at any time to generate what if scenarios and simulations whenever you need to.
