View Attachments


Use this form to view CRM attachments. You can select one or multiple Organisations and/or one or multiple Contacts. If selected, only the Attachments saved against the selected Organisations/Contacts, displays in the results table.

Information The Organisation criteria field displays as a push button. If you move the mouse cursor over the Organisation push button, the text updates to Add Children.

Clicking the Search Now button retrieves all CRM Attachments based on the criteria entered.

  • View an Attachment through drill down on the attachment in the result table or by selecting the Attachment and then the View Attachment button.
  • Maintain an Attachment by selecting the Attachment and then the Maintain button.
  • Save a copy of the Attachment by clicking the Save As button. If you want to add the copy of the Attachment as an additional Attachment, you must add it as an Attachment against the CRM item.
  • The View Attached To button gives access to the detail of the CRM item that the Attachment has been saved against. For example: the Attachment in the result table is saved against a Quote. If you select the Attachment in the result table and then the 'View Attached To' button, the Quote Maintenance form is opened and the Quote detail displayed.

The criteria buttons on this form allow you to:

  • Save Criteria - Save the search criteria entered for re-use. You will be requested to enter a Name for the Search Criteria.
  • Load Criteria - Select previously saved criteria, based on Name. Once loaded, use the Search Now button to perform the search.

A similar View Attachment form is available from the Workflow > View > Attachments menu and enables you to search on all Greentree Attachments.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Organisation

Select the Organisations for the records you want to view. The list of selections displays in the field on the right of Organisation.

If you hold your mouse pointer over the Organisation button, the button's label changes to Add Children. Selecting the Organisation button adds all the child Organisations for the selected Organisations to the selected criteria field on the right. Child Organisations are all the Organisations that appear below the selected Organisation within the Organisation's hierarchy.

Contact

Select the Contacts for the records you want to view. The list of selections displays in the field on the right of Contact.

Name

Enter additional search criteria using the Name field. Use either of:

  • Starts with - Enter the beginning characters of the Name that the Attachments you want to view starts with. Greentree will retrieve all Attachments, which Name begins with the characters entered.
  • Contains - Enter the characters that is contained in the Name field. Greentree will retrieve all Attachments, which Name field contains the characters entered.

Summary

Enter additional search criteria in this field. Use either of:

  • Starts with - Enter the beginning characters of the Summary that the Attachments you want to view starts with. Greentree will retrieve all Attachments, which Name begins with the characters entered.
  • Contains - Enter the characters that is contained in the Summary field. Greentree will retrieve all Attachments, which Name field contains the characters entered.

View Table

The table lists all the records for the criteria entered.
