JADE Query
JADE query is a database update and enquiry tool. It has these features:
- The user to extract information from the database for enquiry.
- The user to change an attribute on an object.
- The user to change a reference on an object,
- The user to change the object ID (OID) of a reference.
- The user to delete an object.
- Single record editing or bulk editing.

Only authorised Greentree consultants should use this tool. Use JADE Query with caution when in update mode because JADE alter data so that you can't reverse or fix errors that it creates. Take a system backup before you begin using JADE Query. Always check the results of your edit thoroughly before letting users continue with data entry. |

An alternative database update tool is the Greentree Inspection Tool. This is generally easier to use when performing database updates, but less effective than JADE Query to run general queries for reporting. |
