Scheduling Price Changes for Stock Items

Use the Price Change Scheduler to prepare base price changes for ranges of stock items in advance. You can schedule the price changes to apply at a specified date and time.

You should consider whether using the Price Change Scheduler or using Price Policies better suits your needs, as both have similar capabilities.

Use Price Policies to apply the price changes to a single debtor account, or small group of debtor accounts. Price Policies also enable you to group a range of price changes across multiple stock groups. Price Policies generally offer more precision in pricing changes than the Price Change Scheduler.
Use the Price Change Scheduler to apply the price changes to all debtors for a single stock item.
Use the Price Change Scheduler – Bulk Entry to apply the price changes to apply to all Debtors, for selected Stock Group(s) and Secondary Stock Groups.
