Story
Suppose that you are a technical specialist in your company who is working on customizations. An accountant of the company has requested a number of reports that are not among the predefined reports. To develop reports based on the data of MYOB Acumatica, you have decided to use the MYOB Acumatica Report Designer, which is included in the MYOB Acumatica installation package.
Process Overview
In the MYOB Acumatica Installer wizard, you will select the option to install the MYOB Acumatica Report Designer. After the application is installed, you will start it.
System Preparation
Before you begin the steps of the activity, download AcumaticaERPInstall.msi from the following folder: http://acumatica-builds.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=builds/<Version>/<buildNumber>/AcumaticaERP, where Version and buildNumber are the version and build number that correspond to the build of MYOB Acumatica that is installed in your company.
Step 1: Installing the MYOB Acumatica Report Designer
To install the MYOB Acumatica Report Designer, do the following:
- On your computer, start AcumaticaERPInstall.msi. The MYOB Acumatica Installer wizard starts.
- On the Welcome page, click Next.
- On the End-User License Agreement step, select a check box next to I accept the terms in the License Agreement.
- On the Main Software Configuration step, select the Install Report Designer check box, and clear the other check boxes.
- On the Destination Folder step, modify the default destination folder, if needed, by clicking the Change… button.
- Continue the installation process.
- When the installation is finished, close the window of the MYOB Acumatica Installer wizard.
Step 2: Starting the MYOB Acumatica Report Designer
To start the MYOB Acumatica Report Designer, on the Windows Start menu, select .
The MYOB Acumatica Report Designer is displayed.
