If there are multiple users accessing a company file at the same time and you want to print or view a report, we recommend that you prevent data changes during report generation so that other users cannot make entries in the company file that will affect the report.

Before you print or display a report, open the Report Customisation window and select the Prevent Data Changes During Report Generation option (located on the Finishing tab of the Report Customisation window). This turns on multi-user file locking and prevents other users from editing the company file while reports are generated.

Some reports take time to be generated. Consider printing lengthy reports at times when no one else is using the company file.
