Entitlement History

On the Entitlement History form, you can view employees' entitlement accruals over a period of time.

Summary Area

In this area, you can set filters to refine the list of entitlement accruals. All filters are optional, e.g. if no employee ID range is specified, accruals for all employees will be displayed.

Element Description
Selection The property that entitlement accruals should be filtered by. Select one of the following options:
  • Physical Pay Day
  • Pay Period Start Date
  • Pay Period End Date
  • Pay Run
Start Date / End Date If Selection is set to "Physical Pay Day", "Pay Period Start Date", or "Pay Period End Date", use these fields to set the range of dates to display entitlement accruals for.
From Pay Run ID / To Pay Run ID If Selection is set to "Pay Run", use these fields to set the range of pay runs to display entitlement accruals for.
From Employee ID / To Employee ID Use these fields to filter the displayed entitlement accruals according to a range of Employee IDs.
Entitlement ID Select a specific entitlement to display accruals for, or leave this field blank to display all entitlements.

Table

The main table displays all entitlement accruals and payments that meet the filtering criteria.
Element Description
Employee Name The employee who the entitlement applies to. Click on this column to open the Employee's Current Pay (MP.PP.31.30) form, showing the details of the employee's pay.
Entitlement The entitlement being accrued. Click on this column to open the Entitlements (MP.PP.33.00) form, showing the details of the entitlement.
Type The type of accrual: Dollars or Units.
Unit For entitlements where the Type is "Unit", this column displays what the unit is, e.g. Hours.
Pay Run ID The pay run in which the accrual occurred. Click on this column to open the Pay Run Details (MP.PP.31.20) form, showing the details of the pay.
Physical Pay Date The Physical Pay Date of the pay that this accrual was a part of.
Pay Period Start The Pay Period Start Date of the pay that this accrual was a part of.
Pay Period End The Pay Period End Date of the pay that this accrual was a part of.
Transaction Date The date that the entitlement occurred.
Accrues Contains "Yes" or "No" to indicate if the entitlement is an accruing entitlement or not. No balances are displayed for non-accruing entitlements.
Open Balance The employee's entitlement balance at the start of the pay period.
Accrual The amount accrued in the pay run.
Accrual Method How the entitlement is accrued: Full Contract, Pro Rata or Explicit.
Earned Balance The employee's total balance for the entitlement.
Entitlement Taken For entitlement payments, this column displays the amount of the entitlement that was taken.
Closing Balance The employee's entitlement balance at the end of the pay period.
Reason The reason for the accrual or payment.
