Certified Projects: Deductions and Benefits

In MYOB Advanced, you can set up a package of deductions and benefits for a certified project. The deductions and benefits included in the package will be calculated only for the earning lines associated with the project.

Setting Up a Deduction and Benefit Package

You create a package of deductions and benefits for a particular certified project by using the Deductions and Benefits Package tab of the Certified Projects (PR209900) form.

Only a deduction and benefit code with the Certified Project option selected in the Associated With box on the Deduction and Benefit Codes (PR101060) form can be included in a deduction and benefit package.

On the Deductions and Benefits Package tab of the Certified Projects form, you can associate a deduction and benefit code with a particular labor item. In this case, the system will calculate this deduction or benefit based on only the earning lines that are associated with the particular combination of project and labor item. If you specify no labor item for a code, the system will calculate the deduction or benefit for any earning line associated with the project.
