WBM Transfer from PO Receipt
You can run a WBM transfer after a receipt, if the inventory was received
into a non-WBM location (for
example, a receiving or checking location), Greentree Desktop
should assign WBM locations for put away.
The IN Transfer Details form displays when you click the Create
transfer button. Enter the details of the transfer. This includes
the location to which the received inventory is transferred to. This information
is required:
- Batch - Greentree Desktop generates
this value.
- Transaction type - The
inventory transfer transaction type. You can select a different one
if it is set up on the Transaction Type Maintenance form.
- Last reference - If multiple
receipt documents have had inventory transfers generated, the last
document reference in the current batch displays here.
- Branch and Location to -
These default from the User Preferences form. You can change them.
- Tax code - This defaults
using the selected transaction type. You can change it, but it must
be a zero-rated tax code.
- Reference and Description
- Greentree Desktop assigns these values if you leave the fields blank.
- Date & Posting
date - These default to today's date.
- Detail - This is not mandatory,
but can add information about the transfer in this field.
- Narration - Defaults to
reference the purchase order receipt from which the transfer originated.
Click the Save icon to run the
process and generate the transfer. For WBM transfer to locations, Greentree Desktop
applies the receiving logic and allocate bins into which the inventory
should be transferred to.
