Serial/Lot Tracking

The Serial/Lot Tracking module records serial or lot numbers for inventory items. You can also track those items.

The includes:

• Options to:
  • Indicate whether an item is a serial or lot item, and to define the parameters of the serial or lot number.
  • Assign expiry dates to inventory items, and nominate an allowable period of time over which the inventory item can be sold.
  • Warn or stop the sale of items which fall outside Greentree-defined allowable selling period.
  • Assign customer and supplier warranties to items at a serial or lot number level.
• The ability to:
  • Assign serial or lot numbers to items when entering transactions, or to suspend the entry of serial/lot numbers when entering transactions so they can be entered when they are known.
  • Output serial/lot numbers to standard inventory reports.
