Process Setup

To use the basic reorder function, you must set up:

• Reorder Detail Maintenance - When the reorder process runs, the parameters used in the calculation are determined from what is defined for each inventory item in the Reorder Details Maintenance form.
• Inventory Supplier Details Maintenance - To include an inventory item in the reorder process, you must have at least one line of supplier details set up, and active. This can be for a empty location, even if locations are in use, which indicates that the reorder parameters are system-wide and are not specific to location.
• Location Maintenance - If you are using locations, you must set both a warehouse location and a stocking location to include the location in the reorder process.
