Copy Accounts

Use this form to copy existing account structures when you are setting up a new division, branch, cost centre, or company.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Selected account types

Select this option to specify the account type to copy. To select all accounts, do not select this option.

Account types

If you are selecting accounts by type, click this option to select the account types to copy.

Across Companies

Select this option to copy the accounts to another company. You can also select the destination company on the form.

Copy Accounts Table

Select the accounts to copy. Press the Shift key to select multiple consecutive accounts at once, or press the CTRL key to select multiple individual accounts in the table.

To company

If the Across companies option is selected, select the destination company here.

Copy masterfile trees

Select this option if you also want to copy masterfile tree assignments for each copied account.

Copy transaction trees

Select this option to copy transaction tree assignments for each account.

Copy masterfile trees

Select this option to copy masterfile user fields associated with copied accounts.
