Use this form to set up the codes for the foreign currencies to assign to masterfiles or when you enter a transaction.
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Currency Code
Enter a code, up to three alphanumeric characters, to identify the currency — for example, AUD, NZD.
Currency Name
Enter a description, up to 20 alphanumeric characters, for the currency.
Supports decimal places
Select this if your currency supports decimal places. If you select this option, the Rounding method is not applicable.
Rounding method
If your currency does not support decimal places, you must select a rounding method:
Denomination descriptions
Enter the whole number and decimal descriptions (decimal descriptions only displaye if the currency supports decimal places) to print on cheques. For example, dollars and cents.
