Use this form to set up locations that can be assigned to assets using the Asset Maintenance form. You can use locations as a filter to output information to Fixed Assets reports.
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Code
Enter a unique location code, up to six characters.
Name
Enter a name for the location, up to 30 characters.
Note: If a location is assigned to an asset, you can change the location and move all related history using the Profit Centre/Location Update form.
Intrastat/EC Sales
These fields only display if the company is subject UK Intrastat and EC Sales reporting.
