Use the Inbound Filing form to view filed, partially filed, or completely filed Inbound emails, or filed or unfiled files. Enter criteria, perform the search and then can drill down to the email or file to view filing details or file unfiled items.
The search criteria includes text contained in the subject and body of the email. The Show completed items option enables you to search on completely filed items.
You can drill down on the items in the table to open the Inbound Filing detail form. This form displays detail of the selected item, the file against options and security detail.
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Subject Contains
Enter the email subject text to base your search on. The individual words you enter are used to search on and retrieve the emails containing the text.
Body Contains
Enter the email body text to base your search on. The individual words you enter are used to search on and retrieve the emails containing the text.
Show Completed Items
Select this option to search on completely filed inbound emails or files.
If you select this option, Greentree Desktop then searches on email attachments and retrieve the filed emails that match the criteria entered. If not selected, Greentree Desktop searches on not completely filed and unfiled inbound emails and you can allocate them to the record.

Inbound Filing Table
This table lists all the completely filed, partially-filed, and unfiled emails or files using the criteria selected.
You can drill down on an item to access the Inbound Filing detail form. This form lists the detail of the email or file, what it is filed against and the assigned user and team. If the email or file has not been filed yet, you can file it against a specific record from the Inbound Filing detail form.
