This form lists all of the available the import and export interface types. The interface definitions appear in the Interface name field, grouped by interface type.
The interface definition contains the list of fields in the sequence that they are imported/exported. You can also create a definition for an interface type.
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Interface type
Select the type of interface to create or edit. The list of interface types are pre-defined.
Interface name
This search field lists all the defined interface formats. Select the interface name to edit or export using the search field.
Add a name for the interface by clicking the Clear button, entering the name in this field, and then clicking the Save or Edit button.
Default file
Enter the directory path and filename for the interface you selected. You can change it when the process runs.
Edit
Click this button to open the Interface Maintenance form and edit the interface file. You can add and remove fields in the file.
Export
Click this button to export the selected interface file, so that you can import it into another Greentree Desktop system.
If you select this option, you are prompted for a directory location to export the file to.
Interface files have the file extension .gti. Use the export file to import into another Greentree Desktop system.
Import
Click this button to import an interface format into Greentree Desktop. If you select this option, you are prompted for the directory location of the interface file.
Note: Existing .gti files do not import if you have loaded later versions and new interface specific options have been added to the interface.
