Install Inbound Emails
To do that:
- Load the Inbound Email feature using the Outlook2Greentree.bat
file in the \bin directory.
- Open the Outlook2Greentree.ini file in the \bin
directory.
- Update the Hostname with
the name of your server.
- Update the User setting
to the name of the user.
Note: If
multiple users use the same computer, create a generic user — for
example: outlook. You can
distribute the .ini file
using Connection Manager.
Greentree takes note of the user logged into Windows and includes this
detail with the email.
The File By User and Date and Time Filed displays on
the Security
tab on the Inbound Filing form.
Ensure that Outlook and Greentree Desktop
are Closed
Do that by:
- Running the Outlook2Greentree.bat file by double clicking the file
in the \bin directory.
- Updating Connection Manager >
Connection Server Settings > Bin Directory Synchronisation
to include Outlook2Greentree.dll and Outlook2Greentree.bat in both
the Files for THIN clients
and Files for FAT clients.
Note: You must
perform these installation steps on each computer that uses this feature.
