Overview

Use the Business Process Manager (BPM) to create a flowchart defining each business process, which assists in driving each process to its completion.

BPM processes are driven by tasks that define:

• What needs to occur, such as:
  • Gather information or a record.
  • Create a document or record.
  • Perform a manual task.
  • Perform a system action.
  • Get a record approved.
  • Run a report.
  • Update a record.
  • Wait until something occurs.
• Who should do it.
• When, and in what order each task should occur.

Note: You'll need some knowledge of the database structures (classes, collections, and the like) when you are defining processes using BPM.
