Conditions

When a rule runs for a record type, it checks the document for the criteria in the condition. If the document passes or fails, a condition is the trigger for additional actions.

Most of the record types have default conditions and actions — for example:

Local discount amount is between a range of values.
When invoice value differs from the purchase order value.

You can also load custom conditions to meet your specific requirements. Contact your Greentree consultant for more information.

When selecting a condition, you might be prompted for such additional information as:

Lower and upper values.
A percentage or dollar variance.

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Condition Description

Lists all the conditions that apply to this rule.

Conditions

Enter or select the condition for this rule:

All Records - All records is subjected to the actions of the rule
Custom Script - The records that are subject to the rule is determined by the instructions of the script. Contact your Greentree consultant for more information.

Condition And

Select the And option if additional conditions apply to the rule and it should be processed in addition to subsequent conditions.

Condition Or

Select the Or option if additional condition apply to the rule and it should be processed in place of the subsequent conditions.
