Explorer

Explorer is a data query feature you can access form the Maintenance, Data Entry, and Enquiry forms to view data stored in the database.

If you access Explorer:

• By clicking the compass icon on the main toolbar, the Search Focus defaults based on the form from which the Explorer was opened.
• Using the File menu, the Search Focus does not default. There are some restrictions on the selection of sub-schema and custom classes.

Note: Explorer respects any user access restrictions of the Advanced Security module if it is in use — for example, read-only access or limited drill down to current company only, and the like.
