Use this tab to assign and display information about supplier trees and user-defined fields for suppliers.
Note: If a supplier tree is mandatory, you can't save a new supplier masterfile unless you have allocated the supplier to a branch in that tree.
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Supplier trees
To assign a supplier to a tree branch, double click the tree to display the tree branches and then select or change the tree branch for the supplier.
Note: You can also assign a supplier to a tree branch using the Supplier Tree Maintenance form. The pre-assigned branch value for the selected supplier displays here.
Supplier fields
Custom fields are set up using the User Field Maintenance form and default to this table.
If the supplier is linked to a CRM organisation, Greentree Desktop synchronises user-defined fields (UDF). This applies the first time a supplier is linked to a organisation, and whenever UDF values are updated subsequent to that. This logic applies:
