Tax Authority Maintenance

A tax authority is a reference used in Greentree Desktop for reporting. You can sort tax reports using the authority code, if different tax locations are required to report to the same authority, and report separately. This is enabled if Australian WET or U.S. sales tax is applied.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Code

Enter or select a code, up to 10 characters. This describes the regional or national taxation office for your country or state.

Description

Enter a description, up to 50 characters, to represent the authority.
