Restart Server Processors

The option to view Server processors status is enabled if the user is a queue administrator and is logged into Greentree Desktop using a fat client connection.

When you select this view, the Stop all and restart server processors button is available. Click this button to restart all server processors without closing client connections to the database. You can administer server queues remotely.

When Stop all and restart server processors runs, all active server processors are stopped and the restarted without closing client connections. You should only stop and restart server processors if there is a known processor issue at the server, and no one is available on site to resolve the issue. You must make sure there are no queued jobs running or scheduled to run until the server processors have been restarted.

A notification displays to indicate the process is run, and user interaction is suspended until the server processors successfully start.
