Faxing Preferences
Greentree uses these settings when sending a report to a fax recipient.
If you:
- Have not purchased the eReporting module, you can only send a report to one fax recipient at a time.
- Are using the eReporting module, you can send reports to multiple fax recipients, and have access to enhanced options for this function.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Default cover page
Faxes are usually sent with a cover page that contains the sender's and receiver's details, the number of pages being sent, and any comments. When reports are output using fax, Greentree Desktop fills in these details and sends the cover page with the report.
If no cover page is required, select none.
Each report can have its own cover page. If the Cover page column in the report tables is left as use default, the default cover page is used. You can select a cover page for a report can be selected here.
From name
For each report listed, you can enter the name of the person who sent the fax. If this field is left as use default, the name of the user who is logged into Greentree Desktop when the report is sent prints on the cover page.
Report writer reports
If you select this option, all Greentree Desktop reports display so you can select a cover page. Greentree Desktop adds a From name to the report that you select.
Fixed format reports
Select this option to display a list of reports which you can send by fax or email, but which you cannot edit using the Report Writer:
- AP Aged Balances
- AP Supplier Balances
- AP Transaction Listing
- AR Aged Balances
- AR Customer Balances
- GL Consolidated Report
- GL Trial Balance
- GL Trial Balance Consolidated
- Sales Analysis Report
