Access Tab
The Access tab on the User Maintenance form contains these sub tabs:
- Company - To maintain the companies a user has access to
- Suite - To maintain the suites a user has access to
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Company Sub Tab
Use this sub tab to specify which companies the user can access. When the user logs into Greentree, they can only select one of the companies.
Suite Sub Tab
Use this sub tab to specify which suites the user can access:
- Windows Client
- Browser Client
- Mobile
A user must have at least one Greentree Browser license or one mobile licence assigned to have access to Greentree Browser.
Note: Use menu security to grant or remove a user's access to specific forms within modules. For example, you can restrict the user's access to only AP or AR forms.
Windows Client
These settings determine which suites a user can access in Greentree Desktop.
The Allocated numbers show the licences assigned to users. The number of users with the suite enabled is not checked when allocated. On login, the number of logged in users cannot exceed the number licensed.
Browser Client
These settings determine which suites a user can access in Greentree Browser.
The allocated column shows the number licences that have been allocated. The unallocated column shows the number of available licences for the suite. The number of allocated users cannot exceed the number of licences purchased.
Mobile
These settings determine which mobile suites a user can access in Greentree Browser. The user can access the suites that are selected.
The allocated column shows the number licences that have been allocated. The unallocated column shows the number of available licences for the suite. The number of allocated users cannot exceed the number of licences purchased.
Allocated/Unallocated licences
The allocated and unallocated numbers update when a suite is assigned to or removed from a user
Super User
Assigning a full client or mobile suite to the super user does not consume a licence.
Inactive Users
When a user is made inactive, you can assign their licences to another user. The suites checked on the Suite tab are not deselected.
When an inactive user is made active, the available licences are checked. If there are insufficient licences available, the user cannot be made active.
GaaS sites
For GaaS (Greentree as a Service) sites, Greentree Desktop columns are not shown. Suites selected for a user are available in both Greentree Browser and Greentree Desktop.
