The Access tab on the User Maintenance form contains these sub tabs:

  • Company - To maintain the companies a user has access to
  • Suite - To maintain the suites a user has access to

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Use this sub tab to specify which suites the user can access:

  • Windows Client
  • Browser Client
  • Mobile

A user must have at least one Greentree Browser license or one mobile licence assigned to have access to Greentree Browser.

Note: Use menu security to grant or remove a user's access to specific forms within modules. For example, you can restrict the user's access to only AP or AR forms.

The Allocated numbers show the licences assigned to users. The number of users with the suite enabled is not checked when allocated. On login, the number of logged in users cannot exceed the number licensed.

The allocated column shows the number licences that have been allocated. The unallocated column shows the number of available licences for the suite. The number of allocated users cannot exceed the number of licences purchased.

Allocated/Unallocated licences

The allocated and unallocated numbers update when a suite is assigned to or removed from a user

Super User

Assigning a full client or mobile suite to the super user does not consume a licence.

Inactive Users

When a user is made inactive, you can assign their licences to another user. The suites checked on the Suite tab are not deselected.

When an inactive user is made active, the available licences are checked. If there are insufficient licences available, the user cannot be made active.

GaaS sites

For GaaS (Greentree as a Service) sites, Greentree Desktop columns are not shown. Suites selected for a user are available in both Greentree Browser and Greentree Desktop.
