Database
When you drag a database field into a report section, the field's Name defaults to the name fieldxx, based on how many fields have been added to the report. You should rename the field so you can easily recognise it as you continue to develop the report.
Content
This field displays the database field name in read-only format.
Type
This field displays the field type in read-only format.
Visibility
These options determine when and how the field appears on the report:
- Always - The field always appears on the report.
- Never - The field to never appears on the report.
- Based on a condition - The field displays based on pre-defined a condition. Click Set condition to add the condition.
Visibility conditions are always based on true/false parameters. When the Visibility Condition form opens, the Available Fields Palette displays on form with the Parameter tab enabled.
You can drag and drop true/false parameters from a list of your pre-defined parameters to the condition form. Select All conditions must be true or Any condition must be true as appropriate, and select Reverse this to reverse the logic to a false condition instead of a true condition.
Click the arrow icon to remove a parameter from the conditions. Click OK to close the form and update conditions.
