User Preferences

These user preferences are used with the import costing function.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Allow cancelling of order lines

If this option is not selected, you can't cancel lines (or part quantities) on the Shipment Entry form.

Default Shipment Expected Quantity to Zero

Select this option if you want all shipment expected line quantities to default to a quantity of zero. If this option is not selected, the expected quantity defaults to the outstanding quantity ordered less quantity cancelled less quantity previously received.

You can select this option if you partially receive lines rather than fully receive them, in which case the user is prompted to enter the quantity received.

Allow edit of exchange rate on shipment

This is enabled if the Foreign Exchange module is in use.

Select the option to enable the user to edit the exchange rate on the shipment header.

Line Item Display Settings

Use this section to change the shipment line entry defaults assigned on the Purchase Order Module Control form.
