Factory Order Receipt Lines


This information displays in the Factory orders table when you select a manufactured item:

Order number

Displays the order number for factory orders available for receipt.

This field is read only.

Required date

Displays the date that the factory order is required.

This field is read only.

Status

Displays the status of the factory order.

This field is read only.

Location

Displays the location that the manufactured item is receipted into.

This field is read only.

Qty ordered

Displays the factory order original quantity required.

This field is read only.

Qty outstanding

Displays the quantity outstanding for the factory order. This is the quantity ordered less the total quantity already receipted less the total quantity adjusted.

This field is read only.

Qty to receive

Enter the quantity you are receipting for the factory order. You can't receive a quantity that is greater than the quantity outstanding, unless the Allow over receipts option is selected on the Manufacturing Module Control form.

Complete

Indicates that the order is fully received, or partially received but you do not expect to receive the balance of the order. It Complete is selected for the line, you can make no further issues or receipts against it.

If you must change an order that has a Complete status, recall the last receipt reference for the manufactured item it is associated with. The order displays in the Factory order table. Deselect the Complete option on the factory order line and save the receipt.

Note: When an order is originally Completed and there is a remaining quantity, it is processed using the Material option selected on the Module Control form.

Narration

This updates with a system narration of the receipt, but you can change it. It defaults to the inventory transaction created by the receipt.

Note: This column is hidden by default but you can view it by right clicking the table header row.
