Location Print Order
Use this form to specify the order in which to print bin locations on WBM reports.
The number of segments available to use with the definition depends on how your location structure is set up. For example, you can have four segments in the structure:
- Segment 1 - The warehouse — for example, 04.
- Segment 2 - Stock area for example PICK.
- Segment 3 - Stocking location — for example, P1;
- Segment 4 - The bin — for example, L1.
To define a print definition, select the stocking location to which it applies. Enter an integer into the Print Order column to indicate the sort order to apply when locations are printed on WBM reports. Use this feature when you have multiple segments between the stocking and bin locations.
Example
The locations output to a report in this order:
P1.L1.PICK.04
In this example, 04 is the warehouse and stocking location, PICK represents an area, P1 represents a level, and L1 represents the bin or shelf.
