Applying weighted percentages is optional. If they are not entered when the basic reorder process runs, Greentree Desktop uses the item's demand history during the reorder calculation.

If the calculated period average is zero, the minimum quantity defined on this form is the average period sales quantity. Reorder quantities is suggested based on meeting the forecasted future demand. If an item is flagged for deletion, the suggested reorder quantity using this type is sufficient to cover any quantity that is on backorder.

  • Minimum/Maximum

Using this type, items are selected for reorder when their potential quantity (on-hand + future + on order - committed - on backorder) is less than the minimum quantity specified here. The suggested reorder quantity is sufficient to bring the potential quantity up the maximum quantity. If an item is flagged for deletion, the suggested reorder quantity using this type is sufficient to cover any quantity that is on backorder.
