Date Ranges

Open this form from the Selling Price Maintenance form by clicking the Date Range button while on the price line that the date range applies to.

Use date ranges to set a price for a specific period of time — for example, to use during a promotion, and also to specify a discount percentage to be applied during that time.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Date From/To

Enter the inclusive date range that the price applies to.

Price

Enter the price that applies to the date range.

Note: Regardless of which markup option you are using, enter a price here. This price defaults to transaction lines for the item during the specified date range.

Discount %

To apply a discount to the entered price, enter a percentage to apply here.

Review Date

Enter a date to review the date range price for this item.

This is for information only.

Active

Select this option to use the date range when you enter a transaction. If this option is not selected, Greentree Desktop does not take this price in account when searching for a price to return as a default to transaction lines.

Add Date Ranges

Click this button to save the current date range price line and proceed to enter a new line.

Table

All date range price lines of the item displays in this table. You can enter or edit line details into the table instead of using the form.

OK

Click this button to save changes and return to the Selling Price Maintenance form.

Note: You can use the inventory system script Remove quantity and discount breaks to selectively remove quantity break/date range prices and/or discounts for a given inventory item and date range combination.
