Inventory Item Maintenance

You can assign a Unit Weight to each item. The weight is assumed to be in kilograms. An item's estimated variable weight is calculated when you enter a transaction using this value.

WARNING: The weight field is also used to calculate additional charges to be apportioned across a shipment when the Import Costing module is in use.
