Allowances Tab

The Allowances tab lists all of the pay transaction types that are, or can be, paid as an allowance.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Code

The alphanumeric code that identifies the pay transaction type. You can double click a code to open the Transaction Type - Pay form to view details about or edit the transaction type.

Description

A short description of the pay transaction type. You can double click a code to open the Transaction Type - Pay form to view details about or edit the transaction type.

Type

The type of allowance. Double click to select one of the following options:

Not allowance
Car
Transport
Laundry
Meals
Travel
Other

If you choose Other from the list, you can optionally edit the STP Description field on this form.

STP Description

If you chose Other from the Type list, you can enter a description of the transaction type. The description is included in STP lodgements.

Note: You can also add the description on the Other on the STP tab on the Transaction Type - Pay form.
