Messages
The Messages form contains two types of messages that display when pay slips are printed. The messages append to any message entered using the Pay Slip report selection criteria.
If the pay slip is reprinted in the future, these messages reprint on the pay slip. The message entered in the Pay Slip report criteria do not reprint.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Automatic Pay Slip Message (Australia Only)
This field displays the SGC Compliance message if you have opted for it to print on the pay slips. The title of the Messages form turns blue if a message is assigned to the employee.
You cannot edit the text in this field.
Pay Slip Message
Enter the text to include on pay slips. If there is an automatic message, this message is appended to it.
Hold reason
Enter text to describe why a pay is placed on hold. Where the hold code has reason required, this is mandatory and you are unable to save the pay until you enter text in this field.
