Custom Tab

Use this tab to display asset trees and user-defined fields, and assign values.

Note: If a fixed asset tree is Mandatory, you can't save a new fixed assets masterfile unless you have allocated the asset to a branch in that tree.

You cannot remove an asset from a tree using this tab.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

User defined trees

To assign an asset to a tree branch, double click the name of the tree in the table to display associated branches and then select or change the tree branch for the asset.

User defined fields table

Enter the asset-specific values for custom fields. User-defined fields display for all assets.
