Settings
Use the eXchange EDI Settings form for general configuration and notifications. It contains three tabs:
Document Settings Tab
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
User
Select the name of the default EDI user from the dropdown list.
Reject if Mandatory fields are empty
Select this option to reject any incoming documents if any of the mandatory fields are empty.
Reject if Delivery Partner ID is unknown
Select this option if the partner ID of the sender isn't in Greentree Desktop's records.
Reject if no Profile is available
Select this option an incoming document doesn't have a corresponding partner profile.
Task Log Screen Default Rows
Enter the number of rows that the task log contains when you view it on screen.
Notifications Tab

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Enter the email address of the administrator. This is the address to which Greentree Desktop sends information and alerts.
Click the Test button to make sure the email address is valid.
Server
Enter the address of your SMTP server.
Sender
Enter the email address from which Greentree Desktop sends emails using the SMTP server.
Email the administrator when errors occur
Select this option to send emails to the administrator, whose email address you specified in the Email field, when any error occurs.
Stop the document processor on recurring errors and email the administrator
Select this option to halt the EDI document processor if one or more errors continues to occur. If you select this option, Greentree Desktop sends an email about the stoppage to the administrator whose email address you specified in the Email field.
Logs & Purging Tab
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Directory
Enter or browse to the directory in which to store EDI log files.
Max Size
Enter the maximum size, in bytes, of the log file.
Write Extended Details to Log File
Select this option to include additional detail in the log file.
Schedule
Select either Daily or Default Schedule from the dropdown list to set the schedule to purge documents and logs.
Click the Perform Now button to purge documents and logs immediately
Keep history of
Enter the number of days to keep a history of documents and logs before purging them.
Clear duplicate documents but keep the last
Enter the number of recent document IDs to retain after purging documents and logs.
Task Log
Select this option to delete old task logs and any associated data trees.
Document ID History
Select this option to delete the document ID history.
Incoming processed files
Select this option delete old files in the \failed and \processed directories.
Temporary files
Select this option to delete application log files.
Archived Files
Select this option to delete old files archived by an incoming or outgoing profile.
