Select Invoices


Use this form to select AR transactions for direct debit payment. The Transaction Selection option on the Direct Debit Module Control form enables you to indicate to retrieve only transactions containing a specific non-stock code selected on the Module Control form.

Buttons on The Form

The button on this form are:

  • Apply criteria - Click this button to accept the selections you have entered, and update the customer lists.
  • Clear selection - Click this button to specify the selections to clear from those you have selected. Click this button to open the Clear Selection form on which you can Clear All selections or Clear and Reselect based on these criteria:
    • Branch Range
    • Currency Range
    • Customer Range
  • Hide all - Click this button to hide the list of customers who have had transactions selected for receipt. This does not clear the selections but rather prevents the Customer names from being displayed in the Selected Customer table.
  • Select - Click this button to move the customer, highlighted in the Unselected Customer table, to the Selected Customer table. By default, all transactions in the transactions table have the Selected column selected. You can deselect the option doe individual transactions to indicate that you do not want to receipt the transaction.
  • Deselect - Click this button to deallocate the customer who is highlighted in the Selected Customer table. The customer is returned to the Unallocated Customer table. All transactions is deselected by default.
  • Show all - Click this button to display all of the customers who have had transactions selected for receipt.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

From branch

Select the first branch in the range from which to make direct debit receipt selections.

To branch

Select the last branch in the range from which to make direct debit receipt selections.

From currency

Select the first currency in the range from which to make direct debit receipt selections.

To currency

Specify the last currency in the range from which to make direct debit receipt selections.

Highest pay date

Specify the latest payment date for AR invoices to be receipted. AR invoices with this date or earlier is selected for receipts through direct debit.

Customer selection by - Code

Select the code option to select customers for receipt using a range of customer codes.

Customer selection by - Alpha

Select the alpha option to select customers for receipt using a range of customer alpha codes.

From Customer

Specify the first customer in the range from which to make direct debit receipt selections.

To Customer

Specify the last customer in the range from which to make direct debit receipt selections.

Maximum amount to take

Specify the maximum amount that can be receipted from any one customer. If the customer's outstanding balance or invoice total is greater than this value, they are not selected for inclusion on the Direct Debit Invoice Selection form.

Invoice

Select the invoice option to include individual customer invoices in receipt selection, up to the maximum amount specified.

Balance

Select the balance option if you only want to receive payments for customers if the total amount outstanding is less than the maximum amount specified.

Selection Total

This is the total value of direct debit receipts that have been selected for all customers.

Unselected Customers

This field displays the customer code of the last highlighted unselected customer in the Unselected Customer table. You can use this field to find a deselected customer.

Show children separately

Select this option to show the customers which have parent accounts separately in the Unselected and Selected Customer tables.

Selected Customers

This is the total value of direct debit receipts which have been selected for the customer who is highlighted in the Unselected or Selected Customer tables.

Unselected Customer table

This is a list of the customers not selected for direct debit receipts. To include a customer for receipting, you must do one of:

  • Highlight the customer in the Unselected Customer table and click the Select button
  • Click the Selected option of the transaction table.

Selected Customer table

This is a list of the customers selected for direct debit receipts. To exclude a customer from receipting, you must do one of:

  • Highlight the customer in the Selected Customer table and click the Deselect button
  • Deselect the Selected option of the transaction table.

Transaction table

This table displays a list of the transactions available for receipting, for the customer highlighted in the Unselected Customer or Selected Customer tables. Click the Selected option to set a transaction to be selected for receipting.

Note: If you click the Selected option for a customer in the Unselected Customer table, then the customer is moved to the Selected Customer table.

If the customer you have selected is of balance type Balance Forward, then the Transaction table displays outstanding balances for selection in a balance forward format instead of an open item format.

If the Only select transactions with Non-stock code selected option on the Direct Debit Module Control form is selected, then the Transaction table lists only the transactions for the non-stock code selected on the Module Control form.
